Our team brings diverse knowledge and experience to a wide range of project types including healthcare, retail, office, education, civic, housing, sport, and recreation design, including owner representative services. We are a full-service architectural company licensed in North Dakota. We partner with local and regional engineering and specialty consultants to meet the unique needs of your project. We have collaborated with general contractors and construction management firms in the region. These relationships will help to ensure and maintain a focus on your project goals.

REGISTERED ARCHITECT
NATE HACKER
Nate thrives on the dynamic and unique nature of each project. His strong organizational skills help to provide schedule guidance, resource management, and task mapping to the project team, so each team member can be engaged at just the right time. Balancing the scope, schedule, and budget with the Owner, Design and Construction Team is a top priority.
Nate earned his master’s degree in architecture from North Dakota State University with a focus on construction management. During his time at NDSU, he gained valuable experience working for commercial and residential contractors in a variety of capacities. Over the next 10 years, he honed his architectural design, project management, and owners’ representation skills while delivering hundreds of projects of varying scope, scale, and complexity.
In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with family and friends. Their three kids keep them busy with the many new adventures around every corner. He enjoys giving back to the community by volunteering in a variety of ways and currently is a Board Member for the Missouri Slope Areawide United Way and Secretary for the Liberty Elementary PTO.
REGISTERED ARCHITECT
COLE JOHNSON
Cole has a passion for design, space planning, and team collaboration. He approaches each project with a balanced focus on aesthetics and long-term facility viability. His ability to communicate and to quickly assess multiple options as the design progresses helps to ensure the project goals can be
achieved.
Cole earned his master’s degree in architecture from North Dakota State University and since then has worked on projects ranging from small storefront renovations to billion-dollar replacement hospitals. He prides himself on being a well-rounded architect with a unique understanding of the owners perspective. Cole utilizes a highly visual design approach that creates an interactive and engaging process.
When not working, Cole prioritizes his time with his wife and three daughters. Together they spend much of their time outdoors camping, biking and exploring. He also enjoys mountain biking and fly fishing with friends on adventures throughout the Midwest.
JOB CAPTAIN
SYDNEY SCHAEFER
A Bismarck native, Sydney brings a thoughtful, collaborative approach to every project she touches. As a Job Captain at Endeavor North Design, she plays a critical role in guiding projects from design through construction, coordinating with clients, consultants, and contractors along the way.
Sydney is known for her strong design instincts, attention to detail, and ability to keep projects moving forward. Simply put, she does great work and has quickly become an essential part of the Endeavor North team.
REVIT TECHNICIAN
EMILY SCHMIDT
Emily brings a strong technical foundation and a practical understanding of construction to the Endeavor North Design team. With degrees in Architectural Modeling and Design Technology and Construction Management, she combines strong Revit skills with firsthand experience in how buildings come together in the field.
Detail-oriented and eager to learn, Emily has experience developing drawings from redlines and hand-sketched details, producing construction documents, and translating design ideas into thoughtful, buildable solutions. Her combination of technical ability, construction experience, and collaborative attitude makes her a valuable part of the team.
CONSTRUCTION ADMINISTRATION
TYLER NORD
Tyler brings more than 20 years of construction and project management experience to Endeavor North Design, providing valuable field perspective throughout the construction phase of our projects. He works closely with owners, contractors, consultants, and the design team to help ensure construction stays aligned with the project documents and original design intent.
With a background rooted in hands-on construction, project coordination, and 14 years of law enforcement experience, Tyler brings a disciplined, practical, and solutions-focused approach to construction administration. His ability to communicate clearly, identify issues early, and keep projects moving makes him an important connection between the design team and the field.
OFFICE MANAGER
ALYSSA JOHNSON
Alyssa is the organizational backbone of Endeavor North Design, helping keep the office moving and the team focused. As Office Manager, she supports a wide range of responsibilities including day-to-day administration, project support, and strategic initiatives across the firm.
Adaptable, dependable, and always willing to jump in where needed, Alyssa plays a critical role in keeping both the business and our projects running smoothly.
